Being incarcerated is difficult and leaving prison can be just as difficult due to most of our returning citizens being branded as FELONS upon release. When leaving prison most returning citizens are plagued with a lack of funds, support, and resources to find adequate housing. Being a felon has many obstacles, that returning citizens have to overcome. The two most daunting obstacles that must be addressed are stable housing and steady employment.
When an individual's basic fundamental needs are met it lowers recidivism and helps our returning citizens in their journey to becoming productive parts of society. Here at A 2nd Chance At Life Foundation, we offer a reentry program that includes Transitional Housing Programs, work opportunities, and a host of other beneficial programs and resources for those coming out of prison.
